Typhoon Ondoy
Categories: personal

Power and internet connection was down since yesterday. Typhoon Ondoy is raging and lashing over the whole archipelago with Luzon  getting the brunt of it. And of course I am pissed off, with the amount of work that I need to finish up by Monday I could not just sit back, relax and wait the typhoon out. But I could not do anything, we have a small power generator enough to power up my laptop, modem and router but water seeped into it and although its running, its not as efficient as it once was and I can only use it during daytimes because of the noise.

And to top it off, my nanny did not arrive… Typhoon + power outage + no internet connection + hyper active kids = total destruction. :) lol

We did have a few precious moments last night, I had to keep the kids preoccupied while trying to finish a tutorial so I dressed them up and they told me that they want to dance and I should take a video of them. My laptop’s battery was dead so I could not finish the video tutorial I was supposed to do, so I did the only thing I can do as of the moment – I made a video of my kids. They were actually practicing for their special number tomorrow in Xanth Reign’s 3rd birthday, not sure if they’re going to dance tomorrow though, you know kids – they’re fickle minded, and mine are more fickle than others. :)

    Hi Jouie,

connection returned yesterday. I’m on Bayantel as well. I called their local office and they told me that they had to take down the connection because of the flood. But they did tell me that as soon as waters subside they would be able to turn on their generators to power up the system. Hope your connection is up now.
