Working to Play, Playing to Work
Meet my friends
Categories: Uncategorized

Working at home as a home-based developer does have its merits: I can play with my kids any time I want to, I can wear anything, I can eat in front of my computer, I can have loud music blaring in the background, no travel expenses and I don’t have to be prim and proper lest other people might say something bad about me. But it does make me a little bit (more?) introverted and more prone to imaginary friends, my people skills were never lacking (if I may say so myself), I’m still me and I still don’t have any qualms with talking to and approaching new faces.

I was never shy but I don’t really speak up unless I want to or if the situation does not call for it. I have friends, real friends that I have somehow neglected, I don’t go out with them, I don’t call or text them… but it has always been my belief that friends will always be my friends no matter what. And I do have a number of imaginary friends from the land of make-believe (dragons, mostly) and ethereal dolls. I have been collecting dragons for a time now and have only started my doll collection, I don’t like dolls that are sissy looking, I want those that are not of this world, weird but not too weird like those creepy living dead dolls… I like the Little Apple Dolls and Pullip/Taeyang dolls, they are a bit costly though…

Enough of the chit chat, now, meet my friends:
