Yesterday, I got a surprise when my college friends whom I wasn’t able to see for the longest time went to fetch me for a night out. We went to Spa Riviera for a much needed spa treatment, I have actually been meaning to do this for the longest time as well but just don’t have the time nor the companion to go with me.
The price is quite cheap, for Php 250 you get a combination massage with sauna. The massage was really good, just what I needed. I loved the sauna as well but I wore my contact lenses so I was not able to enjoy it fully, my contacts dried out so I had to go out a lot to get cold water for my compress. The shower room is okay but one of them ran out of soap… The massage room is common, the ambiance is great and the piped in music is relaxing. I asked for a hard massage because my back and head were really aching and got just what I wanted, although I would love to have more of that head massage.
It was quite a treat considering it was my first with spa riviera and my first sauna overall. I did try a full body massage in Robinson’s, I forgot the name though… they charge Php 350 for a full body massage, the head massage is good but the ambiance is not really relaxing although they do have private rooms… Anyways, I would definitely go back to Spa Riviera to try another spa therapy and this time I’ll wear glasses and might try their body scrub…
