No Regrets

The road of life is long and hard
But friends that stay are life’s rewards.
Problems may hold you back for now
Don’t ask why, don’t ask how,
It’s there for a reason, it’s there because of us.
It may not be clear for now. Be patient and you’ll last.
As you go down life’s pathways
Don’t forget to treasure each and everyday.
To give and receive love from unexpected sources,
That’s just one of life’s various courses.
For life is an endless learning process.
“You win some, you lose some,” is not always what it is.
Life is not a gamble, to say the least.
It is a choice. Yes, life is what we make it.
Don’t pattern your life according to other people’s beliefs
Its got to be your choice, your voice. Only then will you find relief.
Learn to listen to what your heart is saying,
Try to dance to the music that your soul is playing.
Live. Laugh. Cry. Reach out. Play. Dance.
Tomorrow you may be dead but never regret.

Solitude

Vanquish the heart
once trusted,
frail is the hand of faith!
Still the blood overflowing,
streaming river of one’s life.
Bequeath not to hands
idle and lame,
death to those who
fail to see.
Strength of will
to kindred hearts,
being alone
is not akin to loneliness.
