A new baby named Daemon
Tomorrow, our much awaited baby is going to arrive. His name is Daemon and he is an adorable chocolate lab. He just turned 8 weeks and ready for us to take him home. Khleomi and Reign can hardly wait for him to arrive and that goes for me as well. We already bought everything that he will need and Munky, our 13 year old Japanese Spitz is ready to tackle this new buddy. Munky has been going out for nighttime walks so that he will be able to keep up with Daemon. Will post pictures of Daemon tomorrow…
Khleomi Helen
I am trying to unwind by doing something that is not work. I have been too busy with work that I have not been able to do things that I really want to do. I wanted to do this scrapbook thing a long time ago when Khleomi was just 1month old but I did not have a digicam back then, but when we did get our digicam I totally got engrossed with taking gazillion pictures of Khleomi and Xanth Reign that I totally forgot about that particular project. I have over 40gigs worth of pictures of Khleomi and Xanth and someday, somehow I am going to make an online scrapbook of them. Anyway, for starters, here’s one of Khleomi.
Being An Addict
I am not an addict, I do not have any addiction other than the craving for my children’s smiles. But I do know people who are hopelessly fighting addiction to alcohol and to drugs. It is an ugly battle and very hard and demeaning for the battler that more often than not instead of fighting their addiction, they succumb to it.
I do not have first hand experience of addiction but just seeing people slowly dying away, their addiction rotting at their bodies, at their minds is a horrendous experience for me, imagine being in their shoes! But a lot of times, these people do not know that they are addicted and it is up to their loved ones to convince them, to make them see the truth of their addiction and help them rebuild their lives.
These people need a thorough and effective Addiction Treatment, a treatment that would not only treat their bodies but their minds as well. Drugs and Alcohol addiction wreck havoc in the addict’s body, more so on his mind. They need a lot of care and attention and unless you can give that at the comfort of your home, you need to consider a Drug Rehab or an Alcohol Rehab Center.
Proper care must be made in choosing the right rehab center for your loved ones, you have to make sure that that center could address the addiction and help alleviate it through caring means. These people do not need harsh, exacting treatments. They need love and care and a huge amount of patience in order for them to pick up themselves and live a normal and happy life.
