I ordered them for my birthday and they came a week later but I’m not complaining though. They’re the best! Although my Sebby Taeyang is still number 1 in my book but the cuteness of these two is definitely going to win you over. My nendo puchis are ganging up on them but they’re all in awe now. I need a bigger display case…

I’ve never been as addicted to a single anime character as I am with Sebastian Michaelis and after months of anticipation and agony of waiting for the new season of Kurishitsuji, I was finally rewarded. I was heartbroken when I saw the last scene of the first series with Ciel dying and all but it was actually heart-wrenching to read about Sebastian being replaced by a new butler – Claude Faustus and Ciel by a brat called Alois Trancy. All of those months of anticipation, with only the monthly release of the manga at least keeping me company and of course my lovely Sebastian Taeyang doll always staring at me is enough to break the heart of a hapless fangirl/yaoi fan.

I downloaded the first episode of Kuroshitsuji last night and was sort of devastated during the first few minutes watching the despicable Alois Trancy, he is everything that Ciel is not – A Cruel Sissy. Although, Claude does have his redeeming qualities, I especially love his sexy dance but he’s never going to be the Black Butler. Imagine my surprise when an ominous stranger with his face covered and carrying a large suitcase knocked on the Trancy mansion. I knew from the first time I saw him that he’s my Black Butler, imagine a fangirl’s scream when his face was finally uncovered. He was retrieving Ciel’s ring hidden in a can of New Moon’s Drop which has the power to bring Ciel back to life. And of course, with Sebastian protecting the suitcase to the point of actually making his own body as a shield is enough proof that something precious is hidden inside. And who else is more precious to him than his life – his bocha – Ciel Phantomhive.

Ciel is so cute and helpless all curled up inside that suitcase, I can’t wait for the second part! In celebration of Sebastian and Ciel’s rebirth, I changed my wallpaper -was dominated by Kaname and Zero of Vampire Knight fame before. I’ve been looking forward to Kuroshitsuji’s second season and I’m hugely disappointed from what I’ve read. There will be a new master and butler, Alois Trancy and Claude Faustus. Although the new characters look promising, they still seem like poor copies of Ciel and Sebastian. Alois looks ok but he’s not as cute and angelic as Ciel, he’s blond and his eyes are greyish blue and they’re not as arresting as Ciel’s.  And Claude is a spin-off between Sebastian and William, he can never be what Sebastian is to me.

I would still watch the new season, if only to compare them but I’ll always miss Sebastian and Ciel. There’s a sliver of hope though, nobody mentioned that they won’t be in the new season. So I’ll hold on to that…
