I’ve got nothing to say except W-O-W!!!

I was about to sleep after a really tiring and emotionally draining day and was anticipating a restless sleep when something tells me to check FB. Am I glad I did, I found this video about a call center agent talking with an old guy… I was crying from laughing so hard! This is a must see, I once worked for a call center as a dell tech support and have had my share of really annoying callers but after the call and after finally thinking about what just transpired, it usually cracks me up. My heart is aching, from all the laughing I did and I needed to laugh… Laughter is really the best medicine.

Ever wonder why clowns are suspense movies’ staple? Ever wonder why clowns have to laugh their supposed to be “happy but came out evil” laugh? Ever wonder why your two year old would never want to have a McDonald’s birthday party ever again? I wondered and guess what?! I think I have the answer:

I would never look at McDonald the same way again. Now I think, I might have developed a slight fear of clowns or maybe that’s just my flu bug talking. Damn flu! Making me think and write silly stuff. Enjoy!!!

I’ve been watching and reading Naruto for the longest time and although I am a certified Naruto addict (our balcony design has the konoha sign on it… ) I am bound to find another anime that I would absolutely love and when I accidentally found Kuroshitsuji it was love at first sight.

It actually has a large fanbase and the story is really good, Kuroshitsuji is also known as Black Butler and it’s the story of the adorable Ciel Phantomhive and the breathtaking awesomeness of his butler, Sebastian Michaelis. Ciel is the Queen’s watchdog and as such takes care of anything and everything that worries the Queen. Sebastian Michaelis is a demon with a motive, Ciel has made a pact with him – He will help Ciel find the persons responsible for the murder of his father and mother and the ones who tried to kill him, in exchange for his soul.

The characters are awesome, I especially love Grell Sutcliff, a gay shinigami (death god), they are supposedly neutral beings in charge of deciding whether a dying soul should be allowed to continue living or to die, but this lovable shinigami who loves red has an unhealthy obsession with Sebastian (I can totally understand him, who wouldn’t?)

Anyway, for those who have not yet discovered the world of Ciel and Sebastian, I’ll be adding a new page with the anime series. The first season may or may not disappoint you, it left me longing for more… Don’t fret though, a second series is set to air this January and you can read the manga as well, I’ll see if I can add them too. The manga is of course better than the anime adaptation and it comes out every 18th to 20th of the month. I’ll be adding the links later or you can just check the Anime page link on my main menu, its the one on the upper right of this page, in case you haven’t notice it.

Kuroshitsuji

I was trying to find a video of a sun conure to see how it really looks like all grown up. We saw baby sun conures in a pet shop yesterday and they are absolutely adorable, the price is not though… It’s Php 9,000 a piece. Quite pricey for a bird, I’ll stick with my african loveys…

Anyway, I was browsing youtube when I saw this video. I just baked cookies today and had bread for merienda, so… I’m not really squeamish but this video is really freaky, I have to admit that the guy has talent, though.

This is about three days late but I had some problem with uploading pictures, so here goes…

Last December 1, while blowing up plastic balloons and have the kids throw it up in the air in our unfinished 2nd floor, Reign pointed out that the moon is smiling! And wonders of wonders, it actually was, so I went quickly back downstairs to get my digital camera and clicked away.

It was an awesome view and it was more worthwhile with Khleomi and Xanth singing Twinkle, twinkle little star. It was aptly called the “smiling moon phenomenon” and it happens only once every 48 years, that would make me 70ish on its next show and I reckon with blurry eyesight to boot, so I enjoyed it while I still can four eyes and all.

I haven’t had the time to check out the moon since that night, had projects to finish and kids to attend to but that smiling moon stayed in my mind and I know I just have to get the word out, although I may be too late. I read in the papers that on the other side of the globe the moon is frowning, hmmm… bad luck? I hope not… Come to think of it, what do they call their phenomena? Frowning Moon?

And yeah, just so you know the Geminids meteor shower will have their show on the nights of December 13-14 so be sure to have your digital cameras on the ready, I sure will.

Its 1AM and am getting sleepy working my butt off since morning. This video finally got me to do a post in Bethumbed again… Anyway, this is a great video for people working the night shift… Its really, really cute… Better than coffee at 1AM…

With my line of work, knowing what to say and how to say things in the English language is essential. Dealing with English-speaking clients every day is a bit taxing on the nerves especially if English is not your first language. I do know how to pronounce words, I always watch my pronunciation, but there are always times when I slip.

I have always been a sucker for quizzes, I can’t stop myself from knowing if I am really dumb or smart or if I am sexy or not or if I am as crazy as others think me to be. This is the way I am. Anyway, I found this great site with lots of fun tests. I have taken the Impossible Quiz, the Intelligence Quiz and even went as far as taking the Dumb Blonde Test, regardless of the fact that I am a brunette. Believe me, it would be worth your while to try the tests, just for curiosity’s sake.

No matter how busy I am I can always stop for a minute or two to take that really inviting quiz. What can I say, I am a sucker for quizzes. I am very curious and I dare you to prove that Curiosity really killed the cat. It did not, in my opinion curiosity gave the cat nine lives.
