Books, books and more books

I have been doing some deep thinking over the past few days. I have had BeThumbed for over a year now and so far, it has done good on its own. Paying for its hosting and more as an eclectic blog covering a wide range of topics. I have used it to generate money by writing reviews, selling links and have done every money-making tricks available, some work some don’t, but I am better off trying them one by one.

I have now decided to pick a main topic for BeThumbed. I first conceptualized it as a book directory, but I did not have enough time to develop a working directory, so I took the easy way out and installed wordpress instead. And BeThumbed - the blog was born. So, in honor of that I am going to make it a habit to review books that I have read and enjoyed at least once a week.

I am a voracious reader ever since I learned how to read, I would read everything I could get my hands on. It does not matter if its the back of a pancit canton or a cereal box or tagalog comics or flyers or even those signs and graffiti on sidewalks, I could not let them go without reading them. Its one of my many fetishes including bobbing my head every time a vehicle I’m in passes a post or if my eyes are on the road, everytime it passes a line - any line at all - that is perpendicular to the vehicle I am riding in. That particular fetish has diminished some, I now do not peer out of the windows unless necessary and its not my head doing the bobbing, now my pointer fingers are doing the post jumping trick.

I know, I know I am deviating from the topic, I always do that… I have a lot of things on my mind and each and everyone of them are straining to be the first one out - maybe its a side effect of reading tons of books in my 18 years of reading. Anyway, I will be blogging about books and more. That’s it.
