A Bout of Pneumonia

I just got home from the hospital after one week of treatment for Pneumonia. I am still not that well but well enough to continue medication at home. It was a very scary moment for me when we first arrived at the hospital because I was first diagnosed with dengue fever, afraid not for my own self but for my babies. Because having dengue would mean them having a high chance of getting it as well and I would rather suffer than have them contract the virus. Anyway, we had to transfer to another hospital because the first hospital we went to have at least 10 patients waiting for an available room and with a nerve-racking cough and running a high-fever I could not afford to wait before being admitted. So we went to another hospital where there are available rooms and I was diagnosed with a severe case of pneumonia, I was started on antibiotics and an assortment of medicines that are guaranteed to make me well and burn a hole in our pockets.

So here I am tinkering with my blog, it still needs a lot of work, something that I would need to find time for. I am still not fully back to normal, I am still coughing, but it will clear up soon (I hope). I will have to find time for all the work that has piled up over the week when I was at the hospital. That’s it for now, still feeling a little light-headed…
