Why so serious?

I do not watch movies in cinemas much, in fact the last movie I saw was Batman Begins way back in June 2005. That was 3 years ago, imagine that… Its not that I don’t have the time, its just that I would rather spend my time with the kids and watching movie is near the bottom of my list of things to do.

Enters The Dark Knight, I loved reading Batman comics back in my high school years and I just could not pass up the chance to watch a Batman movie - Heath Ledger’s last movie… I like Christian Bale, I think he did quite well in the movie but Heath Ledger is one of two actors that I truly love, the other one would have to be Johnny Depp. Papa Heath was phenomenal as the joker, Jack Nicholson did well as the joker too but Heath brought in a brand new thrill to the Joker role. Never has the joker been more sinister, more maniacal, more psychotic.

It was a shame that such a great actor could die so young…

The movie was great and my three years of waiting is well worth it. The effects are okay but the actors, the storyline, the dialogues are GREAT! Its a must see movie, 80 bucks is money well spent for me.

Stress Buster

Being in front of the computer busting my brain for over 12 hours a day is too much even for me. I used to drink gallons of coffee to keep me sane throughout the night. Until I found this really nifty stress ball, its called a morf stress squeeze ball that I named morfy (very imaginative, don’t you think? lol) Its not a toy, although Xanth Reign tends to take it off my desk and bounce it around making it accumulate dirt that I have to wash off every single time. According to him its his ball, but its mine, mine, MINE!

Its a really great stress buster, it makes a really great scape goat for all those unvented frustrations that comes from being alive. It was an impulse buy on my part as with everything I own, its worth PHP 199 at Handyman and it is worth every single cent. It comes in six colors but I bought the red one that turns to blue when squeezed.
